Final Score: NightWatch 24; Charlotte Express 26
What It Means: NightWatch drop to 1-4 overall and are now tied in last place in the southern division*. Charlotte (2-4) picks up an important road victory and still sits in the middle of the pack still for the early playoff discussion. This was yet another game that was decided by only a few points and missed opportunities by Nashville. Express player #3 Jakeem Polk continued his athleticism and highlight plays in the sky with a score to end the 3rd quarter and gave Charlotte an important two-point lead going in the last twelve minutes.
Starwatch**: 3 Stars #4 Blake Waldron (5A/ 2G/ 94%PP/ 3+/-) 2 Stars: #22 Paul Lally (6A/ 1D/ 4G/ 7+/-) 1 Star: #15 Ray Davenport (2A / 3D/ 3G/ 8 +/-)
Why It Happened: Nashville started out hot in the first quarter with two break points yet Charlotte prevented the NightWatch from scoring as time expired. The Express from that time on applied pressure and scored relentlessly on offensive and defensive points, out scoring Nashville 7 to 4. Their plays came when needed the most like Express player #3 Jakeem Polk who continued showing his athleticism and highlight plays in the sky with a score to end the 3rdquarter as time expired. That gave Charlotte an important two point lead going in the last twelve minutes.
